Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Zochipya Suta |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The interior of Zochipya Suta is mainly composed of ices and magma. This planet is named after the deity Zochipya Suta, the god of the sea.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 160°K (-113°C) at night to 1155°K (882°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
Zochipya Suta is a cold planet and is sometimes called Earth's "twin planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-1563, and bulk composition.
Zochipya Suta has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Daedalus flyby missions and later by the Hawking orbiter. |
