Suggested name | Ribo'fube |
Planet type | Cold planet |
In English, Ribo'fube is often referred to as the "black planet" because the nitric oxide prevalent on its surface gives it a strange black appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
Ribo'fube's atmosphere is similar to Kyugu's in its primary composition of nitrogen and nitric oxide, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. The interior of Ribo'fube is mainly composed of ices and magma. This cold planet is named after the deity Ribo'fube, the messenger of dreams.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the future terraforming potential of Ribo'fube, as well as the possibility of extant life.
Surrounding Ribo'fube is a large planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere.
Wind speeds can reach 45 metres per second. |
