Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Thone Ri |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Thone Ri has been known to astronomers since antiquity. The planet is named after the deity Thone Ri, the goddess of nature.
Thone Ri is the site of Titanic Ridge, the biggest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Thone Ri due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 6 percent of Lypan-hionn's, except at the highest elevations for short periods.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Lypan-hionn, Atkeariel Ga, and Kepler-1543.
A prominent result is the "great black spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first seen by telescope. |
