Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Rowakyo |
Planet type | Cold planet |
For this reason, scientists often classify Rowakyo and Jiwa as "cold planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This cold planet is named after the deity Rowakyo, the demon of good fortune.
Rowakyo is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 305°K (32°C).
There are ongoing investigations assessing the past habitability potential of Rowakyo, as well as the possibility of extant life.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
In 2483, images from Frontier 7 showed Rowakyo as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold planets. |
