Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Mukyu |
Planet type | Cold planet |
When viewed from Bemipya Pyu, Mukyu can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. It is named after the deity Mukyu, the bringer of love and beauty.
Like Bemipya Pyu, Mukyu has been orbiting Kepler-1515 within Pumi Nryo Ru's orbit as an inferior planet, and never exceeds 11 degrees away from Kepler-1515.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Mukyu's distance from Kepler-1515 is only about two-thirds (or 69 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
Mukyu is primarily composed of neon with a significant part of its mass being molecular hydrogen, though molecular hydrogen comprises only about a small fraction of the number of molecules. |
Atmosphere | Neon | 57% |
Molecular hydrogen | 35% |
Water vapor | 7.5% |
Carbonyl sulfide | 0.18% |
Helium | 0.016% |
Oxygen | 0.0032% |
Atmospheric pressure | 0.0012 bar |
