Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Odojosex |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
Odojosex is the fourth planet from Kepler-145 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
For this reason, scientists often classify Odojosex and Waqerer'a as "cold gas giants" to distinguish them from the other planets. This cold gas giant is named after the deity Odojosex, the messenger of the underworld.
When viewed from Earth, this proximity to Kepler-145 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Odojosex is a cold gas giant and is sometimes called Earth's "twin planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-145, and bulk composition.
As one of the most prominent objects in the sky, Odojosex has been a major factor in native folklore for as long as records have existed.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
