Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Wengg Eshei |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Wengg Eshei, the god of good fortune.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Wengg Eshei due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 4 percent of Earth's, except at the highest elevations for short periods.
Wengg Eshei is primarily composed of carbonyl sulfide with a significant part of its mass being 2H2O, though 2H2O comprises only about a small fraction of the number of molecules. The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
Atmosphere | Carbonyl sulfide | 35% |
2H2O | 30% |
Methane | 29% |
Water vapor | 4% |
Ethane | 1.8% |
Nitric oxide | 0.45% |
Hydrogen peroxide | 0.062% |
Ozone | 0.02% |
Atmospheric pressure | 0.017 bar |
