Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Liophe Trieri |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The interior of Liophe Trieri is mainly composed of ices and molten metal. It is named after the deity Liophe Trieri, the spirit of hate.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on. Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Liophe Trieri's hostile surface conditions.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Liophe Trieri 1000 and ExoLiophe Trieri rovers.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pioneer, which entered into orbit around Liophe Trieri after a very expensive trip.
Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Liophe Trieri approached its equinox 4 years ago. |
