Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Obekel-yto |
Planet type | Cold planet |
When viewed from Axenepy, Obekel-yto can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. It is named after the deity Obekel-yto, the bringer of the sea.
Like Axenepy, Obekel-yto has been orbiting Kepler-1349 within Ezenyse-ku's orbit as an inferior planet, and never exceeds 30 degrees away from Kepler-1349. When viewed from Earth, this proximity to Kepler-1349 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Obekel-yto was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of sand. |
