Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Dabyo-shi |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is a cold planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of Kepler-1335, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 95°K (-178°C) at night to 490°K (217°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
It may have had water oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in the Black Sea.
Planet is crowded with harmless but stone-age oceanic creatures known as "Bachi-wa". They survive while finding nourishment in the Fute plant. Most Bachi-wa are not similar to the Kokyuki Ke and have 3 arms and vary in length from 40 to 50 mm. Bachi-wa are known to survive temperatures from 60 to 110°C but are killed by near-vacuum which is rare on this planet. |
