Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Tiaraq |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is named after the deity Tiaraq, the god of chaos.
An observer on Tiaraq would therefore see only one day every five years.
It is radically different from Earth in other respects.
Tiaraq's thick clouds make observation of its surface impossible in visible light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 20 years ago.
Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator). |
Atmosphere | Nitrogen | 68% |
Hydrogen chloride | 15% |
Formaldehyde | 11% |
Nitric oxide | 4.8% |
