Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Monarianda |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This cold planet is named after the deity Monarianda, the spirit of destruction.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly four times for every five revolutions it makes around Kepler-1284.
Monarianda's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.
Monarianda can easily be seen from Thysvi Sie with the naked eye, as can its yellowish coloring. Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Thysvi Sie, Mela, and Kepler-1284.
Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Monarianda approached its equinox 9 years ago. |
