Suggested name | Kiryubyu Ne |
Planet type | Warm planet |
Kiryubyu Ne is the largest and most round planet in its solar system. In English, Kiryubyu Ne is often referred to as the "orange planet" because the ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) prevalent on its surface gives it a dark orange appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
Kiryubyu Ne has been known to astronomers since antiquity. Kiryubyu Ne's atmosphere is similar to Pyuwojo's in its primary composition of water vapor and ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH), but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. The planet is named after the deity Kiryubyu Ne, the god of love and beauty.
Kiryubyu Ne is gravitationally locked with Kepler-126 in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system. |
