Suggested nameAfiqewi
Planet typeCold planet
Afiqewi and Iler are cold planets rich in ice. This planet is named after the deity Afiqewi, the messenger of prosperity.

At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Iler.

Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Afiqewi's distance from Kepler-1225 is only about two-thirds (or 53 pct) of its distance at aphelion.

Two spacecraft have visited Afiqewi: Wayfinder 3 flew by 21 years ago; and Messenger, launched 10 years ago, orbited Afiqewi over 80 times in four years before exhausting its fuel and crashing into the planet's surface 7 years later.

As the closest planet to Iler, Afiqewi has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration.

Afiqewi is primarily composed of hydrogen chloride with a significant part of its mass being krypton, though krypton comprises only about a limited fraction of the number of molecules.

Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Afiqewi approached its equinox 9 years ago.
