Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Protan |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is named after the deity Protan, the creator of destruction.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Protan's hazardous precipitation.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Protan 2200 and ExoProtan rovers. Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Protan due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 5 percent of Diqeqsida Ano's, except at the highest elevations for short periods. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of rock.
Like some of the other cold planets, Protan has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Kalsi-ophe Munhi being the most famous one. |
