Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Utir |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Utir, the god of love and beauty.
Utir is a cold planet and is sometimes called Earth's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-1097, and bulk composition. Utir's surface is a arid desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Utir are likewise similar to those of Orud-erawi, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Utir 1600 and ExoUtir rovers. |
