Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nrobyu |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Nrobyu, the demon of good fortune.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly four times for every five revolutions it makes around Kepler-108.
Nrobyu's surface appears very bruised and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years. The polar regions are constantly below 180°K (-93°C).
Nrobyu has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Wayfinder flyby missions and later by the Galileo orbiter. |
