Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Bemyou-rerm |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Wang-sher, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
It is named after the deity Bemyou-rerm, the creator of good fortune.
As one of the brightest objects in the sky, Bemyou-rerm has been a major factor in native culture for as long as records have existed. It has been deemed sacred by members of many civilizations, and has been a huge inspiration for poets, calling it the "fallen star".
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Bemyou-rerm due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 7 percent of Wang-sher's, except at the highest elevations for limited periods.
Bemyou-rerm is primarily composed of ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) with a significant part of its mass being ozone, though ozone comprises only about a small amount of the number of molecules. |
