Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Euan |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Euan is similar in composition to Misge Ton, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. This planet is named after the deity Euan, the goddess of destruction.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Euan's distance from Kepler-1025 is only about two-thirds (or 76 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Euan due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 4 percent of Earth's, except at the highest elevations for short periods.
A prominent result is the "great blue spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first observed by radar.
Like a few of the other cold planets, Euan has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Thone-hoe being the most visible one. |
