Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ceja Nor |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-1017 of 7.2 earth days is the longest of all the planets in its solar system. Ceja Nor is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Ceja Nor is orbiting Kepler-1017 every 7.2 Earth days. It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
This planet is named after the deity Ceja Nor, the spirit of hate.
Like Uroneb, Ceja Nor has been orbiting Kepler-1017 for 3 billion years, and never moves more than 19 degrees away from Kepler-1017.
The Ceja Nor system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. Wind speeds can reach 77 metres per second. |
