Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Hanaq |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Hanaq is the strangest and most round planet in its solar system. Its orbital period around 2MASS J19354742+4803549 of 6.8 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system. Hanaq is the fourth planet from 2MASS J19354742+4803549 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
It is named after the deity Hanaq, the creator of fear.
The polar regions are constantly below 216°K (-57°C).
Hanaq was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Earth's oceans.
The largest moon, Cemaka Mip, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Jupiter.
Future targets for exploration in the Hanaq system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of its moon Misthee'ligaeon.
In 2284, images from Frontier 8 showed Hanaq as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other hot planets. |
