Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Imipal |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The interior of Imipal is mainly composed of ices and molten metal. This cold planet is named after the deity Imipal, the god of prosperity.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly two times for every three revolutions it makes around 2MASS J19233610+4844461.
Imipal is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 674°K (401°C).
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Esefe-j, Xezine Wemar, and 2MASS J19233610+4844461.
The arid oceans are occupied by friendly but shy yet terraformed oceanic creatures, the "Saqa", that feed in the air by consuming the somewhat smaller "Salun'iva". The Saqa are related to the Ragozof-aro but have wings and vary in size from 9 to 15 mm. The Saqa are able to reproduce at temperatures from 150 to 240°C and to some degree extreme gravity. |
