Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nyusate Su |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is a cold planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of KIC 10544976 (AB), but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. This cold planet is named after the deity Nyusate Su, the demon of prosperity.
Nyusate Su is gravitationally locked with KIC 10544976 (AB) in a 5:4 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
It has the densest atmosphere of the cold planets, consisting primarily of oxygen.
Nyusate Su is the site of Celestium Mountain, the tallest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Nyusate Su 2600 and ExoNyusate Su rovers.
The largest moon, Nowo'mapu, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Mars.
This brutal planet is crowded with friendly but shy interesting plants, the "Ryazo Pao", which spend their life in caves by finding nourishment in anything they find if they can. The Ryazo Pao are closely related to Inako-zo, have wings and vary in length from 23 to 34 cm. Most Ryazo Pao are able to live at temperatures from -50 to -10°C and even prolonged periods without food which is common on Nyusate su. |
