Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Aranr |
Planet type | Huge hot gas giant |
It is a huge hot gas giant planet with a mass one-thousandth that of KELT-25, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. The interior of Aranr is mainly composed of ices and magma. The planet is named after the deity Aranr, the demon of fear.
Aranr is the site of Celestium Tower, the most active volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Aranr 1100 and ExoAranr rovers. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of frozen gas. |
