Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameXengf
Planet typeSmall hot gas planet
The planet is named after the deity Xengf, the messenger of dreams.

Like Yibep-yudank, Xengf has been orbiting K2-66 for @STARAGE billion years, and never exceeds 31 degrees away from K2-66.

The polar regions are constantly below 126°K (-147°C).

Two spacecraft have visited Xengf: Frontier 5 flew by 21 years ago; and Messenger, launched 10 years ago, orbited Xengf over 70 times in four years before exhausting its fuel and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 12 years later.

The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of methane ice.

Xengf is primarily composed of carbon dioxide with a significant part of its mass being nitrogen, though nitrogen comprises only about a small amount of the number of molecules. Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).

The latest probe to visit the planet is Pioneer, which entered into orbit around Xengf after a very expensive trip.
