Suggested nameAtizupi Cetu
Planet typePlanet
It is named after the deity Atizupi Cetu, the spirit of the underworld.

The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to K2-58, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 151 days.

Atizupi Cetu is gravitationally locked with K2-58 in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.

Atizupi Cetu's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.

The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior.

A prominent result is the "great yellow spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first seen by telescope.
