Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nuranen Yd |
Planet type | Small warm gas planet |
Its orbital period around K2-32 of 9 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system. In English, Nuranen Yd is often referred to as the "brown planet" because the helium prevalent on its surface gives it a slight brown appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
Nuranen Yd is similar in composition to Ysukenol, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger small warm gas planets. The planet is named after the deity Nuranen Yd, the messenger of fear.
As seen from K2-32, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
The polar regions are constantly below 144°K (-129°C). |
