Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Qalu-minun |
Planet type | Warm planet |
It is named after the deity Qalu-minun, the goddess of chaos.
Qalu-minun's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.
It may have had molecular hydrogen oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect. Qalu-minun's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
As one of the brightest objects in the sky, Qalu-minun has been a major influence in native folklore for as long as records have existed.
In November 2100, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Qalu-minun.
Like some of the other warm planets, Qalu-minun has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Unora-wexu being the least famous one. |
