Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Culojot |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
It is a terrestrial planet with a mass one-thousandth that of K2-239, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 88°K (-185°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with ammonia thought to make up the lowest clouds, and hydrogen the uppermost layer of clouds. The planet is named after the deity Culojot, the bringer of destruction.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly three times for every two revolutions it makes around K2-239. An observer on Culojot would therefore see only one day every two years.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 14 meters. |
