| In English, Chobi is often referred to as the "green planet" because the carbon dioxide prevalent on its surface gives it a strange green appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
Chobi is similar in composition to Zodo-soryu Se, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. It is named after the deity Chobi, the creator of fear.
Chobi is the site of Titanic Mons, the most active volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other cold planets, Chobi lacks a well-defined magnetic field.
The unfriendly surface is said to have aggressive and stone-age carnivores, the "Myame Nyo", that survive by eating the Kyanaha Pusha plant. They are related to the Woda but have 2 legs and vary in size from 80 to 130 mm. The Myame Nyo can survive temperatures from -60 to 0°C and sometimes very low gravity. |
