Suggested name | Kahibyu Pyo |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Kahibyu Pyo is the fourth planet from K2-205 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 45°K (-228°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with carbonyl sulfide thought to make up the lowest clouds, and hydrogen peroxide the uppermost layer of clouds. It is named after the deity Kahibyu Pyo, the spirit of good fortune.
Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 255 kilometers across when Kahibyu Pyo is closest because of Hechaka Kupo's atmosphere. |
Atmosphere | Hydrogen peroxide | 84% |
Carbonyl sulfide | 6.6% |
Methane | 6.5% |
