Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Memya |
Planet type | Small warm gas planet |
It is named after the deity Memya, the messenger of the underworld.
The krypton has probably photodissociated, and the free ethane has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a planetary magnetic field.
As one of the most noticeable objects in the sky, Memya has been a major inspiration in native folklore for as long as records have existed.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Memya's strong magnetosphere. |
