Suggested name | Koko-tohe Gyo |
Planet type | Hot planet |
This hot planet is named after the deity Koko-tohe Gyo, the bringer of the underworld.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Koko-tohe Gyo due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 5 percent of Earth's, except at the highest elevations for limited periods. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of frozen gas.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pointer, which entered into orbit around Koko-tohe Gyo after a lengthy journey.
