Suggested name | Imeji |
Planet type | Small hot gas planet |
Imeji is the oldest planet known belonging to K2-182 and one of the smallest in its solar system. Imeji's atmosphere is similar to Ribi's in its primary composition of carbon dioxide and hydrogen deuteride (HD), but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. It is named after the deity Imeji, the goddess of prosperity.
Imeji was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC. |
Atmosphere | Carbon dioxide | 83% |
Hydrogen deuteride (HD) | 17% |
Ethane | 0.19% |
Atmospheric pressure | 0.17 bar |
