Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Foky |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This cold planet is named after the deity Foky, the god of nature.
When viewed from Wireh Unoho, this proximity to K2-177 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Foky's surface is a arid desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
This dark planet is mostly occupied by unreliable earth-like oceanic life known to feed at the sea by hunting the somewhat smaller "Letule" if they can. They are somewhat related to Kikal-awe and have 11 tentacles and vary in size from 23 to 34 cm. They are able to thrive at temperatures from -70 to -50°C and very low gravity which is rare on this planet. |
