Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Dacha |
Planet type | Warm planet |
Dacha is the fourth planet from K2-15 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
The planet is named after the deity Dacha, the demon of the underworld.
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to K2-15, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 139 days.
Dacha is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. Wind speeds can reach 77 metres per second. |
