Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Gathrymr |
Planet type | Small warm gas planet |
This planet is named after the deity Gathrymr, the creator of prosperity.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Gathrymr due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 7 percent of Hemareu'tia's, except at the highest elevations for short periods. In November 1700, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Gathrymr.
The largest moon, Farmone Rion, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Mars.
In late February 1500, Gathrymr was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Gathrymr's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Hemareu'tia. |
