Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Yaosyof An |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Yaosyof An's atmosphere is similar to Ahwa-hyof-wan's in its primary composition of ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) and argon, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. The planet is named after the deity Yaosyof An, the creator of hate.
The polar regions are constantly below 216°K (-57°C).
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other hot planets, Yaosyof An lacks a well-defined solid surface.
In late February 1300, Yaosyof An was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Yaosyof An's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Ahwa-hyof-wan. |
Atmosphere | Ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) | 59% |
