Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ribe Shara |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
This huge cold gas giant is named after the deity Ribe Shara, the demon of the sky.
Ribe Shara is gravitationally locked with HR 3549 in a 3:2 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Surrounding Ribe Shara is a vast planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere.
Like the other huge cold gas giants, Ribe Shara has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Yuryota being the least recognizable one. In 2383, images from Daedalus 7 showed Ribe Shara as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other huge cold gas giants. |
