This planet is named after the deity Elyuan Jyanc, the creator of hate.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Elyuan Jyanc's distance from HIP 78530 is only about two-thirds (or 66 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
It is radically different from Earth in other respects. Elyuan Jyanc's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Elyuan Jyanc due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 3 percent of Fermoun-youw's, except at the lowest elevations for limited periods. |
