Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Thelis |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
The planet is named after the deity Thelis, the creator of chaos.
Surrounding Thelis is a irregular planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere.
In late February 2200, Thelis was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Thelis's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Sitisska Pho.
In 2185, images from Frontier 3 showed Thelis as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other huge cold gas giants. |
