Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Mopamyo Nebyu |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
When viewed from Zehiryo, Mopamyo Nebyu can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. The planet is named after the deity Mopamyo Nebyu, the creator of chaos.
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to HIP 64892, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 180 days.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Mopamyo Nebyu's distance from HIP 64892 is only about two-thirds (or 66 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Earth's oceans. |
