| Nykyt-is is the smallest and most round planet in its solar system. Orbiting within Muxe's orbit, Nykyt-is is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from HIP 4845; its maximum angular distance from HIP 4845 (elongation) is 65 degrees.
This cold planet is named after the deity Nykyt-is, the creator of prosperity.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 80 bar, or roughly the pressure found 1260 m under the oceans of Earth.
Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
This cruel planet is entirely crowded with unreliable earth-like bacteria known as "Vine". They survive close to volcanos while hunting the Rycyly-se plant if they can. Vine are not related to the Uzut Ubol but have wings and vary in size from 60 to 110 cm. Most Vine can reproduce at temperatures from 60 to 130°C and high atmospheric pressure which is common near the poles. |
