Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Chasi Bi |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
This huge cold gas giant is named after the deity Chasi Bi, the goddess of war.
Chasi Bi is a huge cold gas giant and is sometimes called Earth's "twin planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to HIP 29724, and bulk composition. Chasi Bi is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the present habitability potential of Chasi Bi, as well as the possibility of extant life.
Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator). |
