Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Aralythe Tri |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
It is named after the deity Aralythe Tri, the messenger of good fortune.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Aralythe Tri's hostile surface conditions.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
In 1390, images from Daedalus 7 showed Aralythe Tri as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other huge cold gas giants. |
