Suggested name | Gyaze Iyapu |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is named after the deity Gyaze Iyapu, the bringer of the sky.
Two spacecraft have visited Gyaze Iyapu: Frontier 10 flew by 33 years ago; and Messenger, launched 15 years ago, orbited Gyaze Iyapu over 90 times in four years before exhausting its fuel and crashing into the planet's surface 10 years later.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 0.09 bar, or roughly the pressure found 810 m under the oceans of Earth.
Two of Gyaze Iyapu's moons, Rokyubi-pege and Kyoha'oyo, are are very unusually shaped. |
