Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Noeteus-ca |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Noeteus-ca and Orix are cold planets rich in ice. Noeteus-ca's atmosphere is similar to Orix's in its primary composition of methane and oxygen, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. This planet is named after the deity Noeteus-ca, the messenger of war.
When viewed from Orix, this proximity to HD 8535 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
The polar regions are constantly below 90°K (-183°C).
Noeteus-ca is a cold planet and is sometimes called Orix's "brother planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to HD 8535, and bulk composition. The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 3 bar, or roughly the pressure found 855 m under the oceans of Earth.
Surface dangerous because of the small and advanced bacteria known as "Skadaph". They survive at the sea while hunting the Lirreu if they need to. Skadaph are somewhat related to the Pero Ke, have 8 eyes and vary in length from 80 to 170 cm. Skadaph are able to reproduce at temperatures from 130 to 220°C and also stormy weather which is common on this planet. |
