Suggested name | Bamo Kepyu |
Planet type | Large cold gas giant |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Punyaa, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, sometimes, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
This large cold gas giant is named after the deity Bamo Kepyu, the spirit of nature.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Bamo Kepyu's distance from HD 80606 is only about two-thirds (or 43 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Bamo Kepyu 1800 and ExoBamo Kepyu rovers. |
