Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nuepi-jito |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is named after the deity Nuepi-jito, the spirit of the underworld.
Nuepi-jito's dense clouds make observation of its surface difficult in infrared light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 68 years ago.
The Nuepi-jito system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. Wind speeds can reach 144 metres per second. |
