This planet is named after the deity Sycori Tho, the bringer of destruction. At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Lytrin Roncal. Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 150°K (-123°C) at night to 385°K (112°C) during the day across the equatorial regions. Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Sycori Tho 1800 and ExoSycori Tho rovers. Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Sycori Tho due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 6 percent of Lytrin Roncal's, except at the lowest elevations for short periods.
